Hi, sony said no.
The reason for getting fixed, is so I can digitise my cassettes. The only
other recorder that was anything like it is the merance, and I can't get
them either.
If I do any conversions I'l have to get my dec out.

I have one of these, I bought it 16 years ago, its a tried and true
performer, i think its been around for a quarter of a century or more in
various versions, have you asked Sony if they'll repair it? Of course it
may be a problem getting parts now as they've been out of production for
at least 10 years.
