Winamp, but I suppose (if need be) I could upgrade to the latest version, as
long as I can delete or edit my bookmarks if I need to!

But if I understand correctly, with later versions of Winamp, you cannot
access the library, thus, one wouldn't be able to delete or edit a
bookmark!

All Winamp versions are accessible. Use the classic skin.
The latest version is probably 5.621 as Chris says...I have 5.61 myself
and I thought that was the most recent. It shouldn't really matter too
much in any case; most of the changes will be minor.
Ninite is great, but winamp is easily installable as is. Just download
from winamp.com

The latest and greatest will work providing you tell Winamp
to use the
classic and not the modern skin.
