O, ok then I can give it a look. No GoldWave is not what I need now. I did use it but I then went to audacity. And GoldWave is not free. I'm talking here about a lighter utility, and total recorder is more closer to the rite thing. GoldWave and alike is good for editing, but if you want to quickly capture something in a simpel manor, and to decide beforehand where it must be saved, that is not something alot of programs offer. I con't remember if GoldWave have recording standby, because that will be a problem. I record with it such a long time ago. I don't actually need it anymore. I switched to audacity because I needed a multi track recorder, but since it uses its own project format, that will not do what I want. But if anyone is intrested, try sonarka recorder. Its not to bad, Just wunder what people might think of these smaller but handy recording tools.
