Are you aware of any Olympus dictation recorders that also have voice guidance? I'm familiar with all of the DM and LS series but none of those are true dictation recorders. I'd love to find one with voice guidance is one exists.

Actually, none of these are dictation recorders. Dictation recorders allow punching in etc. They also use small files for easy emailing. And provide encryption for security. As to which one to buy, it depends on what you need. If you don't require truly professional sound, the LS-7 is inexpensive and sounds quite good. The LS-100 is better, but you'll pay for it, and I don't know if the multitrack function is accessible. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nick Giannak" <[email protected]> To: "PC Audio Discussion List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 07, 2013 4:06 PM Subject: Re: LS7 OR LS100? > How about neither? > The LS7 was nothing more than a glorified dictation recorder.
