Again:

The software is there called aimer-dvd-ripper_full51

Can't judge accessibility, but worth a try.

Hello Peter and list: Well okay; I had seen an earlier post that said that if all I wanted was audio, the Audio Extractor was the one that would do the
job. But if I can get video as well...maybe this is the one I want!

Hi Tom, Peter here. I think DVD Audio Extractor will let you see video as
well, just open the program, put in the DVD and tab to the Play button; I've

read that that way sighted people will be able to watch, but if you google
it and read the info it'll tell you if that is correct; thanks.

Thanks to all who have responded so far; what I need is something that will
not just give me audio, but the video as well.

I use Freemake Video Converter. It will convert video to other formats
including to mp3. It wil convert other audio to mp3 and it will rip DVD's.
And it is free. It uses menus and dialogs. find it at:

Hello list: I think this may have been posted recently! But since I wasn't
exactly in the market, I didn't pay real close attention. But it's very
possible that I'll be getting a DVD I may want to rip to my computer; what I
need to know is: what's a good DVD ripping program that is accessible (one
that's free if there is such) but would pay for one if necessary! Help and
info appreciated!

I use DVD Shrink; it's old, but rarely fails. Allows you to only
pick parts of the disc (like the main film but miss out the
trailer, for example) and choose things like which subtitle or
audio track/s you want.

ALso, as the name suggests, will if needed compress the video so
it will fit on a standard writable disc.
