I'm just curious, why would you want to record from the Microphone of a set of Apple Earbuds?

I've never thought much of the microphone in those things even for taking pho9ne calls or for chatting.

You can find a special plug in amazon at apple excesories.
This cable has a mic input and an audio output.

YoYou can use a standard plug powered mic in this input and It wil work.
