Thought this might be of interest to some of you.  While working with
Oracle on the renewal of our OS support contract, I was just told the
following:

  "Oracle has changed their stance on Firmware and they will cover
   Firmware support under OS coverage"

just a small Update on the Firmware Topic:

I found a System that still has hardware warranty ( Thanks to the X4150
which has a 3 Year Warranty :) )
and called the Support and asked them for the warranty Number as
written here:

Warranty Customers.

To find out your warranty contract number, call your local support
center and provide your serial number, the agent can look it up to
provide a warranty contract number.

The Support didn't know yet why I would need that number but they gave
it to me anyway.
Added that Number to my account and it works again :)
