Saturday, October 14NE, N, NW, S, SE, SW; you name it, we raced in it. The morning races of 3B and 2A were sailed in the Northerly breezes of 2-5 knots and the southerly 2B and 3A races were sailed in the Southerly breezes of 2-6 knots. The morning races were cut short due to the light, shifty and dying breeze. The sailors had a good long lunch break and hit the water again at 1:50pm. The afternoon races were started in a southeasterly with A Division starting first. The first attempt of race 4B race was abandoned at the gate because of lack of wind. As the wind shifted back and forth in the afternoon, a total of five races were completed in each division. One Redress was filed and denied. No protests were filed. Many thanks to Bern Noack'88 for serving as the regatta rep and to Conn College and Julie Wilson for bringing great coach boats so all the coaches could get on the water and to Caleb Dorfman for serving as the mark boat and protest chair with Chris Klevan assisting. Racing begin at 10:00am sharp tomorrow morning. Teams to park at YCYC Sunday are: Stanford, Charleston, Hobart, Georgetown, UPENN, Dartmouth, North Eastern, Vermont and Connecticut College. All others will park at RJ Shore Top 5Visit http://scores.collegesailing.org/f17/yale-women/ for full results.
