A friend got his Sonnet G3-400 512k cache for $270 at eBay and installed it
on his 7200/90. He had trouble setting it up since DIMMs were mixed 60 ns
and 70 ns. He eventually sorted things out but dropped back to 8.6 from OS
9.0.4. He got 844 points (8.44 x faster than a 6100/60) on Norton Utilities
System Info. The 256k L2 cache was not removed.
