Aaron,

 From the limited knowledge (please other listas jump in here and 
correct any inaccuracies) I have about this, generally speaking for 
Macs; PCI cards must be PCI 2.0 compliant and have the appropriate 
Mac drivers to operate.  The driver situation is usually the tricky 
bit here though.
