This is a URL that led me to decide that I can use my PPC6500 as firewall/router to
share a cable modem.

After reading some of the information on their web site I clicked on the Contact Info
hot link and then the Info Request link and sent them a few questions and description
of what I was thinking about. I got a helpful response back later that same day. I
gather that I am going to have to do a bit of learning to understand what I am doing
as I set up the networking and firewall filters. But I think it will be doable and
sounds good to me. I am working on getting it set up in the next few days.
