It has been said many times on the IPNetRouter list that even a IIci
is adequate for routing traffic to/from a Cable modem. Paradoxically
routing for a dialup modem takes more of a machine. This is because
the Ethernet hardware handles all the task of sending and receiving
packets. The CPU is more involved with a modem transfer.
