Not if you take time to counter M$ FUD, in the trenches. The Internet has
left M$ with no place to hide.

That's what many say, but why not give it some help. MacOSX may have some
effect as an alternative corporate OS, but Win is entrenched. Long term I
agree it will be regulators, lawyers, and legitimate competition from Linux
and other open source projects.
If Apple went quasi-open source for pieces of its s/w it may make major
inroads. Then again, we'll see a continuing trend of govt. and other
entities moving to GPL'd s/w for their cost and flexibility. That's not Mac.

Agreed, if you're well-situated in Linuxland, with the light-speed KDE and
Gnome interface improvements that have occurred, there's little reason to
/switch/ to OSX for interface or functional reasons. Besides, you'd usually
run Apache headless, right?. As I'm still interested in OSX, I'll be playing
more than one hand here.
