I am having the same problem with my 7500, when turned on you haer the
chimes (normal not the chimes of death) You can hear the hard drive spin up
but then it stops and the screen stays black and nothing else hapens. I
just acuired a boot room that i am going to install i will let you know if
that fixes the problem.
