I found with my original setup.... 6200, ?64meg ram, ext hd.... I found
that it was better to extract the music first and save it to the hd, and
then burn the cd from that. Otherwise I got lots of "buffer underrun"
errors. I use that method with the 7600/120, 112mb ram, and havent had a
dud burn for a long time. My understanding is that buffer underrun means
the computer is unable to supply data to the burner fast enough.
Anyway, may be worth trying... Oh yes, I personally use toast audio
extractor to do the extracting and then toast to burn the cd.
