Memory is very cheap nowadays. As for hard disks, you can find 4GB SCSI
for in the low $100 range, and the 18GB SCSI I have was only $260.
G3 cards vary in price, but my 500MHz Sonnet G3 was in the mid $300 range.
Add on another 128MB of RAM or so and you're talking about $650, give or
take shipping and varying street prices. I don't think this is uneconomical
at all.
