Yes, I suggested the PowerLogix G3/375 processor upgrade because I have one
in my 7300 and it works fine and installed easily. I bought it from Small
Dog, in fact, but I don't remember just what I paid, although I know it was
less than $200. I also upgraded to a 9 GB IBM SCSI hard drive, purchased
from Other World Computing for around $130, if I recollect correctly. I
considered getting an internal CD burner but reconsidered after learning
about heat problems when these are installed in older desktop computers.
Instead, I bought a refurbished CD-R external drive directly from Plextor
at a very good price, cheap because CD-RW drives are now more stylish to
buy. --Art Sable.
