If the 200 MHz 604e processor in your machine is really almost as fast as a
G3, then all you need is more RAM and a bigger hard drive. That could be
done for a small amount of money nowadays, much less than going to a
complete higher horsepower computer. You would get some improvement, no
doubt, but if it's not enough for you, you could later get a PowerLogix
G3/375 daughtercard processor upgrade for less than $200. (By the time you
are ready for it, the price may be even less.) --Art Sable.
