First of all, as a start, let me attach my entry into my personal
operating log file:

Summary
Using Sonnet upgrade cards and OSX installation software, I was able
to install OSX , and then print in OSX using an USB Epson 740 Stylus
printer connected to a Keyspan PCI-USB card with no additional software.
Epson 740 priner drivers are included on the OSX CD
I was also able to print ,as aove, in " Classic" mode.
I was also able to print as above , files when connected to the
internet using IE5.1 Browser / e-mail ( P/O OSX CD)
My Related Equipment list
1. 7600 / Sonnet Crescendo G3 400MHz / 1MB / 512Khz backside cache
2. Sonnet Tempo ATA 66 PCI card driving an Internal 30 GB IDE hard
drive / OS9.1 installed on a 5 GB partition.
3. Apple multiscan 15" monitor connected to the "stock" monitor
connector. NO video PCI card physically installed.
3 External SCSI 9 GB hard drive / OS X installed on a 5 GB partition
OSX installation was performed using the Sonnet/Encore installer
4. Internal Keyspan PCI-USB card interconnected with an external Epson
740 color stylus printer operating in USB mode.
My Personal Conclusions
Based on my measurements and observations, Sonnet must have included
OSX -PCI enabling software as part of their Encore installation software
package since their PCI ATA66 card is enabled. Whatever architecture
they used to enable the PCI ATA66 card must also be enabling the
Keyspan PCI card since I can print!
