Hi John.

I have the PowerMac 4000 with a Yamaha 2100e Adapti CDRW that is replacing
my OEM Apple 12X CD.

As for drivers I have the Apple CD/DVD from OS 9.1
Toast Drivers from Toast 4.1.3 And Itunes 1.1

And yes this draw opening situation just started, usually when I am working
in a program or just closing out of a program.. there is not one specific
program that causes it.
