I baught a Maxtor 60gb 7200 rpm ata/66 drive new from best buy $200. Funny

The IDE card is the Sonnet Tempo (repackaged acard ata/66 i think)

I will probably swap the Tempo out for the new ata/100 card if reviews show
that it doesnt stutter on audio/video playback. ($119.95 available Q3 from
thier lit.)

BTW Computergeeks has a Mac bootable 40x IDE cdrom I am also using on the
Tempo card (its $22).

Hope that helps.
