In Netscape's preferences, select "Mail Servers" from the list at the left.
Select your incoming mail server, and click "Edit..." and put a check next
to "Check for mail every BLANK minutes. Fill in the blank with how often
you'd like it to check for new messages, and close that window.
Back in the main Netscape preferences panel, pick "Mail & Newsgroups" from
the main list at the left, and choses a notification sound from the pull
down menu.
I used to use Netscape for Mail, but swithced to Outlook Express because it
can automatically check more than one mail account. Better than quitting,
restarting, and logging into Netscape just to see if you're other mail
account has anything in it. I miss the spell checker.
