The OE spell checker only works if you have MS Office (maybe it works with
just Word?) installed on your Mac. I'm not going to spend $87658765 on a
software suite I won't use in order to get a simple feature that Netscape
gives me for free. And I'm not gonna pirate it, and I'm not gonna use
Netscape for mail, and I'm too lazy to fire up SpellTools, a freeware
spellchecker that works with any program.

So I guess I'm gonna keep on sending typos. >=o)

Maybe I'll try Netscape 6, since it has a spell checker, and lets you set up
multiple email accounts for each user. It's just that I haven't heard a
single good thing about it yet.

I think you mean "send without spell checking?"

Last time I used Netscape Mail, there was an option in the preferences to
turn on or off the automatic spellcheck on send. I think you might also be
able to get by it on a one-shot basis by highlighting a single letter in the
body of the message before you send, so that Netscape will only spellcheck
the selection, and ignore the rest.
