Ah ha, that is why, I do have Office 98 installed (for working at home...)
I like Netscape, but I am giving a couple months shot to OE and IE5, so far,
no major complaints, I still like Netscape look and feel.
It is just getting loaded down with more junk than IE seems to be, and
Netscape 6 is rated at G3 and higher, so that leaves me out, and IE is ok
for any PowerMac, so Netscape is alienating me from upgrading to their newer
products.

The OE spell checker only works if you have MS Office (maybe it works with
just Word?) installed on your Mac. I'm not going to spend $87658765 on a
software suite I won't use in order to get a simple feature that Netscape
gives me for free.
