PageMaker doesn't make EPSs blurry, regardless of what version you are
using. The problem is almost certainly the PLW 300. According to Apple
Spec, that's a QuickDraw printer, not PostScript, like the PLW NT.

With the NT, the Type 1 fonts and vector graphic information (smooth
lines and gradient fills) in your EPSs were interpreted and printed
correctly by the built-in PS engine. With the 300, no PostScript
information is used from the EPSs. Instead, the printer uses the low-res
bitmap preview that is used to give an approximate look of the image on
screen. If you were to use/create an EPS without the bitmap preview, it
would print correctly on the PLW NT, but all you'd get on screen in
PageMaker 5 and on paper from the 300 is an outline box with a big X
through it. (Well, actually, on screen, the box has a gray fill.)
PageMaker 6.5 and later will display the EPS on screen, even without
there being a bitmap preview in the file, but it will still not print
correctly on the 300.

The only way to get those EPS images to print on a non-PostScript
printer is to create a PDF of the files and print the PDF, not the
PageMaker file. Another possible workaround if your EPSs are only text
(and Typestyler does this) is to convert the text to "paths" or
"outlines" and save the image in some non-PS "metafile" format -- a
PICT, maybe.

Why did you switch printers, btw? Is 9.01 your Mac OS version or the
Typestyler version. What Mac are you doing all this on?
