I wasn't aware that StyleScript was out of production, but it did not
increase printing time on my setup, at the time a 6100/66 and Epson 600. It
is not the only Postscript emulator on the market. Among others is also a
product called Birmy PowerRIP. For inkjets only there are two other choices
that I know about: PressReady (stalled and not under development) and
Epson's own Postscript RIP. I have no hands on experience with any of these
so I can't recommend them.
