Hi Steve,
Pagemaker is not the problem here. Your old printer was a Postscript
printer. Your new printer is a Quickdraw printer. It will always print EPS
images imported into a page layout program in a blurry or pixelated fashion.
(Strictly speaking I would not consider this an upgrade.) Check out your
printer specs at:

&ql=laser
You have a couple of options:
(Clean) Buy a program such as StyleScript to emulate postscript on a
quickdraw printer. Make sure you get a older version that supports your
printer. About $100 new or you can pick it up on eBay. These programs are
usually used with inkjets--also Quickdraw printers--so I'm assuming they
will work with the laserwriter, but ask first.
(Dirty) Save your Typestyler documents as 300 dpi TIFF files and import the
type as TIFFS into Pagemaker. I do not recommend this if you are creating
professional graphics for printer output, but it's fine for home use, or for
documents that are limited to laser or copier output.
