The ROM slot was put there in the past in case Apple wanted to fix a
problem, don't worry it is missing in mine as well and as far as most know
isn't needed. As for any thing else you don't want to "flash the Rom) One it
maybe againest the law in your town to flash, second it is getting cold so
why do it? You really don't need to do anything other then enjoy yor 7600,
one of the things you can do it upgrade to a g3 g4 setup, and stuff all the
ram you can into it. I happen to enjoy mine now if that one daughter card
would get here so I can go up to a 225mhz 604e. As for what can be done,
well Seagate does have a nice 18gig scsi that would be so nice in it. Other
wise your pretty much set.
