Hello:
Is anyone using the Radeon PCI card? And if so, when did you buy the card?
I am asking because there have been many reports of very loud fans on
these cards and I'm wondering if this was just isolated to the first
couple of batches made.
Initially the Radeon VE card looked promising (no fan on this) but I've
read some reports of the PC version the last couple of days and it looks
pretty pathetic. No idea what the Mac version will be like until people
actually get ahold of them and run some tests. They are due this month, so
hopefully we'll see them sooner, rather than later. It is supposed to be
more powerful than the Rage Orion, but not as powerful as a true Radeon.
Time will tell.
