I felt as you did. I couldn't wait. I was in desperate need for a new 
computer, needed for work. At the time, Apple didn't always come out 
with new ones when announced, so I bought mine. I love my 9600/233, 
but two weeks later my friend got a faster processor and a month 
later the G3 came out. So waiting a month may be worth it.
