Following up my question above (BTW, it was by accident that it originally
got attached to another thread), one source seemed to spec the original
drive as plain SCSI:

while another specs it as SCSI-2:
http://www.everymac.com/systems/powercc/powerwave/powerwave604_120.html
Anybody know which it takes for certain? Can I use either? This machine gets
little use, so I really want something inexpensive. Could I even use faster
SCSI drives, like Ultra SCSI, if I'm willing to take the hit and be limited
by the bus speed, or does that require a different controller and cable?
What are my options?
