I turn it on, and I get no video; correct. But it doesn't seem to
_boot_. No HD boot noise anyway. Nor from the CD (though the CD LED
does flash as though it is booting).
Yep, the monitor is good. Works fine on my G3. Besides, I already
tried two monitors. But I'm thinking it's an ADB problem. As I
originally reported, I can't use the keyboard to zap the PRAM
(apple-option-P-R won't cause the mac's power to cycle) and the
caps-lock light won't come on. The only thing the keyboard seems to
do is restart the PTP (apple-control-power) and start it cold. Also,
when REstarting, the LEDs don't flash on the keyboard - they only
flash when cold booting.
I'm fairly certain it's not video related - swapped vid cards AND
monitors... All the cables are seated properly - besides, even
without a disk, you still get video - the flashing question mark,
remember? And all the video/keyboard cables are seated well.
Thanks,
Drew
