I have an 8500/G3-333 into which I just tried to install an SLR8 MAChFire PCI card. After installing the drivers, I plugged in my new firewire CD/RW. Now the drive doesn't show up on the desktop. Upon checking Apple System Profiler, I saw that there is an "unknown" card in that PCI slot. I've tried zapping the PRAM and rebuilding the desktop to no avail. Could someone help me avoid having two expensive paperweights? Eric -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
