The bus speed of the 9500 like all PCI machines with removable processor cards is variable from 40-50MHz. You might want to test the G3 you have with a 50 Mhz bus and 8x setting and see how well it runs, keep an eye on the temp with one of the software packages that can do this. The XLR8 card came with one. My 350 MHz G3 (from a B&W G3) runs great at 50x8 for 400 MHz and stays cool.
