Well worth trying. A good fan will run silently and improve cooling. Aim it
right at or across the processor heat sink on the card, and put a heat sink
onto the chip if there isn't one there.
I have installed a heat-sink second fan in a CPU just once and found that it
radically improved the stability of a accelerated processor. Total cost was
about $15.00.
