I took one of the respondents suggestions and checked out my cable carefully, sure enough, one of the 15 pins was missing (second row). Okay, maybe this is the root of the problem, all I need to do is buy a new cable. Problem is *every one* of the svga cables I found had this same missing pin! So now I have two questions: - Do all SVGA cables have the missing pin in the second row? - Is this really enough to make the card stay fixed on 640 x 480?
