Hello All

I would like to make contact with guys that are using Mt Everything to
unmount(stop unit) to take hard drives off-line when not in use.

Equipment: 7600 /sonnet G3 400/1MB /OS9.1

I have an external Bus 1 SCSI Quantum Fireball HD (ID5) ; one internal
Bus 0 SCSI Quantum (ID 0) and one IDE as my boot up disk

I can fully control the external quantum HD OK; stop unit-start
unit-mount.Works just like I want it to.

The problem is that I cannot control the internal quantum. It will not
accept the stop unit command.

Can anyone help me on this one?

thanks to all that reply

albert

BTW. I have tried "Sleeper" .There are "problems"for me with this one.
When I work Outlook Express with one internal disk I get activity on the
external one at the same time and that disk keeps on spinning up. (?)
