Good morning evereyone,

I think my OS (9.1) is behaving badly...here's the problem
I started geting lots of crashes and freezes, so zapped pram and rebuilt
the desktop. thta seemed to work for a while, and then I noticed none of
the keyboard shortcuts were working eg eject, make alias. last night I
did a clean instal of the OS and now the top toolbar has items missing
form it. ... eg restart, get info ...
I said I think the OS is bad because Im not sure. When I first tried to
reinstall the system, the 9.1CD could not find the hd, so I turned off,
restarted from the hd and tried aagain. this time it worked and I did a
clean install. When I had finished I found that I had installed the
software not at 10pm saturday but 4,30am "tomorrow" sunday...... very
odd. the toolbar is still missing some bits, and the keyboard shortcuts
still dont work.
Oh yes ...the other odd thing that happened is that when I tried to
start form techtools last night before I reinstalled, it wouldnt start
from the CD either by keypad or by selecting startup disc in control
panels.

any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated
