Have a modified 7600/132 (upgraded to 604e/200) with 128 Mb RAM, running
OS8.6. Getting no sound output except via connecting external speakers to
the speaker port on back. Checked internal speaker wiring and it is
connected to the mobo near the on/off switch so this is apparently not the
problem. Are there other audio wires/connectors that should be checked? I
do spot another "sound/audio" connector on the side of the mobo opposite
from the speaker connection. What is this? Any obvious things to check
considering sound comes from externally connected speakers but not from the
internal speaker (with external speakers disconnected)? Many thanks.
