I ordered the appropriate DIMM. 168 pin 5v EDO... It looks very similar to
my other dimm (there is an extra chip in the middle that the other 64 mb
dimm I own doesn't have). I guess it's possible that they sent me the
wrong ram, but would a 3.3v dimm fit???

Yep, did that. Each an every time that I installed anything. I also wore
an anti-static band.

Tried reseting the PRAM with techtool lite. Haven't tried pulling the
battery. I'll do that next.
