Just assembled an 8500/150 from parts picked up from several places and a
new $25 CompUSA ATX power supply (rewired for Mac use per instructions on
the www).

I moved a 1gb hard drive from my 8100 with OS 8.6 installed. The 8100
connected fine to the other Macs using Apple Built-In Ethernet extension,
Yet Ethernet is not an option in the AppleTalk Control Panel on the 8500. I
have a good link confirmed by the light on the hub but cannot browse the
network from the 8500.

What Extensions/Settings are needed on the 8500 that I did not have already
set for the 8100?

Thanks,

Dennis in Buffalo
