Pat.. Run self test on the printer. Check print quality . (If there is any.) I suspect dried ink to be the culprit. After long storage periods, you should give it a thorough P.M. proceedure. If the printer has an operable self cleaning utility, try that as well. I purchased a brand new, Epson 740i for $25 , still in the box, because " it wouldn't print.
