I received Release 5 BeOS (for Intel) CD (minus manual) that came with a swap. It had the PPC Mac installer. Be documentation sez it works best on 180 mHz and up 604e and 603e Macs, but not on G3 (native) ones. It comes bundled with an email client, its own browser, and prints to networked HP printers. Some PPC compatible commercial programs are still available online. It was being positioned as an alternative to Windows. It works well on its dedicated drive on my 8500/250-604e Now Be was acquired by Palm <http://www.beos.com> Charlie -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
