Little Q,

I'm going to install OS X.1 soon and I've gotten some conflicting
information lately. When OS X was released it came bundled with a
special OS 9.1 version. At that time you had to install that OS 9.1 even
if you had the 'regular' OS 9.1 installed if you wanted to use Classic.
The info I have gotten now is that I can update my 'regular' OS 9.1 to
9.2.1 and then install OS X.1 over that and that it will work fine with
it then.
Is this true?

If this is not true I know I have to install that special OS 9.1 and
update it to 9.2.1 and install OS X.1, that will be on one partition
then. But can I then still use and boot from another partition with the
'regular' OS 9.1?

Thanks for your help and time.
Marc
