There is a catch - you have to lift the plastic tab to "unlock"
the sled.  If it was stuck in backwards (i.e. the sled was 
mounted 180 deg. wrong) it can be a pain.

1 of 2 drives in my 7600 came that way. It was very hard
to access the part of the sled that is supposed to keep the
drive in place.

Since the screws holding the sled to the drive are under it,
you cannot get at them.  You need to lift (or pull) the flexible
part of the sled (vertical) and at the same time pull out on 
the drive (toward the front of the unit).
