Often time, it seems, is the one thing I do not have an abundance of! I just didn't want to unknowingly set myself up for days of frustration trying to figure out what the heck I just did to mess up my fairly smooth running machine, except for a few corrupt system files that don't matter much. Due to the lack of response (except one from Tim) I was beginning to feel like I asked a pretty dumb question! Doesn't hurt to play it safe. Besides I didn't want to spend the money for someone to sell and ship me cd I couldn't use. Not everyone is concerned with measuring their system bus speed or knowing the precise affects of optimization on disk test times (yet)! Thanks for your help. Jeremy, I am currently shopping for OS 8.6 Install CDs, what is the old "Borg" OS 8.6 CD? Anything to I should be avoiding for a 8500/120 or 9500/132?
