Hi. I had another look at the card on linux-mandrake, it boots up and works fine until you change screen size. Then you get a nice black screen with dancing colors. So the card isn't dead. Completely Installed on a pc (now 3 monitors) it gives the same result as on the mac. I will try your advice Lesnik and reflash on the pc if that works I'll try flashing the mac rom from the pc.
I've no reason to suspect the original mac flash didn't work properly and expect the card to display on a pc then, like the mac and linux, fail on resizing the screen.
