There was a version of the XClaim GA that shipped in a 9500. You may
have this flavor. In my experience most ATI/Apple OEM cards will not
be recognized by ATI website-download installers, but are identified
appropriately by Apple OS installers since circa System 7.5, which
install the proper ATI drivers with the system software.

Do you have an Apple System Profiler? I'd be interested in the exact
numbers that appear for this card. I own an XClaim GA which the
previous owner claimed came from a 9500, but uncharacteristically for
an OEM version, this ATI card requires the ATI website-downloaded
installer instead of the Apple OS installer.
