AFAIK, the 7500 and 7600 mb's are identical. I believe the only difference in the models was the original processors - the 7500 came with a 100 mHz 601 and the 7600 had a 120 or 132 mHz 604 or a 200 mHz 604e.
The 7300 is also the same basic configuration as the 7500/7600, with the significant differences being a faster CPU (166 to 200 mHz 604e) and it is lacking the video-in card of the 7600 (the "gap" at the rear of the mb you mentioned). The CPU connections are exactly the same (daughterboard connector) in the 7500/7600/7300 series, and very different than the 7200 (soldered on). In short, the dealer did you quite a favor! >I had a 7200/75 which served me well for a time, until it collapsed. I >took it to be repaired and they installed a new motherboard.
