Hello,

My question for today is: Is RAMometer v1.3 a good utility to use on
System 9.1 running in a 9500 with an XLR8 Carrier ZIF MPe?

I used this utility to test four 128 mb ram sticks I bought from
Velocity Upgrades at the $29.95--not the bargain-basement price of
$19.95. With all of them installed, I get read/write errors. With one
installed, I get no errors. With any of the other three, I either get
errors, or bus errors/freezes on startup--with subsequent file
corruption in system software. Fortunately, there are systems
installed on other partitions from where to startup from when this
happens.

The reason I ask is the version of RAMometer I am using is five years
old and I think that it may just be incompatible with my newer
hardware.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

TIA
